WinterShines on Broadway

On Monday, February 1 to Saturday February 6, Artist Doug Taylor will begin a nearly week-long installation near the Little Stone Stage at Ecole Victoria School, in celebration of Saskatoon's annual winter festival- WinterShines.

Doug's work will celebrate light, colour, and the relationship of basic forms and shapes. Rather than "carve" some crude representational shape of something else, Doug's installation will highlight the very properties of the medium.

"Everyone understands the fundamentals of playing in the snow, so I've decided to embrace that simplicity."
